The artist Rommel Valgart is actual twice in Hisingen. Partly, he has covered the walls of the club Truckstop Alaska with a mural that glows in the dark. In addition, he has an exhibition at Backa Culture Center. “I have been inspired by different kinds of music, each painting represents the feelings I got to the music I listened to.”

Jag har inspirerats av olika typer av musik, varje målning representerar de känslor jag fick till musiken jag lyssnade på, skapade med geometri och symmetri. Mexikansk konstnär och muralist Rommel Valgart berättar om sitt arbete med muralmålningen ”Equilibrium” och vad han vill kommunicera med denna. Muralmålningen invigdes i januari 2015 och finns att se i Folkets Hus Järntorget. Muralkonst är en viktig genre i Mexiko med stora namn som Diego Rivera.

Finally a website with my latest work is on air.
The new website is full responsive, which means that it works with all mobile devices and web browsers .
Ellen Taylor, an Art Collector and a portrait artist from Manhattan, NYC, bought my second piece ever made with my hands. She saw the sculpture at the Art Students League of New York, while I was working on it.
She commissioned the clay piece for casting in another material, to preserve the sculpture in her art collection. The sculpture is made in water based clay and sculpted from a model posing live.
I want to say that I got so happy that she appreciates my work, and that she wants to preserve the piece that took me one month to complete. Curiously, it all happened on my last day at the Art Students League of New York.
Now it is time to move forward and say good bye to this magic and chaotic city.
